Well, unless he absolutely self-destructs at final TC he's certainly got my vote.
If Candice has any actual self-preservation instincts she'll try and get LJ to force a tie, but I don't see Katie and Kass breaking their pregame agreement, and I don't see Candice winning any kind of tiebreaker challenge. In a Kass/Katie/LJ final three, for me it's a pretty obvious scenario in which two people cheated and one didn't.

Goodness knows I'm not afraid to admit that I made a poor judgment on a person if they outperform/undercut my expectations. That being said, I'm really excited for LJ right now. |

I can see I'm about to get a warm welcome  So yes, Rob (Julie), it was me and you know who I am (because who the fuck else would be Kass, really). The whole pregame business with Katie WAS true. I've played with her for the longest time and I'm personally a fan of hers (although  she voted my bitch-ass out despite me clearly being a goat). I wanted her as my partner in crime because I knew how...erm...abrasive she was to certain folks and look where that got me. The Julie vote wasn't personal (from my perspective anyway). The votes were there and I figured it made more sense to go along (plus we hadn't talked strategy recently so I didn't really know where your head was at long-term). To the jurors who I actually need to explain myself to... Julie- Rob, you know I like you out of the game, but my main ally (Katie) was on board with the "Get Julie Out" train. It seemed to be the consensus at the time (and duh it was personal from Katie's perspective) and as much as I liked you out of the game, I didn't want to risk blowing up my game by revealing my alias and then throwing my allies into the crossfire. Plus, we hadn't talked strategy since like...Round 2 where you said I was your favorite on the tribe (or whatever it was) and we never really touched base after that besides the Ken vote so to me, I felt like if I was going to stick with the Ares crew, I was settling for a rather blech placing. I hope we can mend our friendship because I like you lots. Teresa's boot was actually something I wanted to push at like F12 (Brian can attest) because I knew Teresa wasn't going to take me far (I assumed she'd oust me at like 7 or something) and Brian was like LOLNO. I actually intentionally left Katie in the dark on that vote because she explicitly said Teresa was her closest ally that wasn't me (so I felt like not only was I getting another threat out, but I was also securing another number on my side since I knew Katie wasn't talking to too many others). Teresa you kicked ungodly amounts of ass and I was damn scared of you. Plus, Brian ratted out your idol scheme (to idol Katie at 8 and have an Athena F4?) so I was like "Well, shit." Austin, first of all, I'm REALLY sorry for voting you out the way I did because you deserved much better than what you got. It was totally scumbaggy (and I mentioned in my confessional angling for a title actually whoops) but I would have stuck with you had you told me about the idol (seriously if I was your final 2, you not telling me about the idol came off as incredibly shady and Brian told me about so to have someone else tell me about your idol clearly showed me that you had no intention of taking me to the end for any purpose besides that of a goat). Plus, Katie was a vote I could have gotten on my side (and I reiterated that point to you so your near constant making sure we were voting Katie made me think you not only wanted her out for the sake of having her out, but you wanted her out to make sure I was sort of relegated to voting you). I hope there's no hard feelings there because you're damn awesome and I really enjoyed talking to you Brian you know I luh you gurrrlll and I'm sorry I didn't convince Katie at all to sway because she wasn't budging once that tie happened :X Yul you are a sweetheart and I'm so sorry we had to take you at 5. I thought I had my people lined up in a configuration that would best secure me a win with Katie and Candice (whoops) and I knew you were too damn likable All of you, I totally get why I wouldn't have gotten many (if any) votes had I made the FTC because my social game was abysmal but I did feel like I played at least a somewhat decent strategic portion? I had to take out people when I figured they weren't going to take me far or if they were gonna use me as a goat so hopefully that would've count for something. Immunity whore-ness? That was a total shock. I actually was trying to throw the one at F11 by passing so much because I didn't want to look like a threat or something (though at me being a threat in retrospect after reading this thread). As for this vote, from a personal standpoint I'd like to vote for Katie, but from a gameplay standpoint, I'm stumped. LJ hasn't done anything spectacular IMO (he's just chugged along and went with the Brian vote but that was more of Yul/Katie's doing IMO) and won the FIC when it might have been him had he not won it. I'm still not sure whether I'd like to vote for Katie though... Much love to all of y'all and please don't shun me/put my head on a skewer |
