1) You’ve spent a round on your new tribes. How do you fit in?
It's not really a matter of fitting in anymore. It's a matter of biding time. Stephanie made her bed by telling us Ken had an idol and when we called her bluff, expecting her to use her idol on herself, we were right and it turned out, her "ally" (or former tribemate) went home because of her lies. I have no problem with Steph personally, but she did make her bed and has to lay in it at this point. It feels weird because for a tribe of four, I feel surprisingly powerful. I know all of that is changing once the merge inevitably hits, but at this point, I feel like I have a decent amount of control which is both foreign, but something I love.
2) In the first round, we asked you who you trusted the most and the least. Has that changed? Who’s your closest ally, and who’s your greatest enemy?
Ally is a lose term at this point, but I'd say Candice, Yul, and Austin are in my top tier with Brian and Katie in my second tier. Julie's in the middle of trust vs. don't trust and I suppose Todd is there too. Everyone else I distrust but I don't say any of them are enemies. I'd say Teresa is the biggest adversary though. She's a smart player and she's been planting seeds that I have an idol. When I get the chance, I want to get rid of her. Not because I dislike her or anything but because she's so damn smart. Based on all the info Brian's been feeding me, I feel like Teresa is coming after me and I'm going to have to nip that in the bud before it becomes a legitimate threat.
3) What are your long-term plans in this game?
Long-term I'm not sure, honestly. I have to take it day-by-day, round-by-round. At this point, I want an alliance of myself, Austin, Yul, Candice, Katie, and Brian to have a majority. That's 6 in a possible group of 12 (although if Candice doesn't vote, that could pose a problem). In that case, we'd be 5 in 11 and we'd need to swing one more. I think if anything, we'd be able to get a good majority over old Athena with Brian and Katie as tagalongs in case. I just have to be careful with how I play this because it could easily land me in some hot water
4) If you went to tribal last round, how did you react to the events that occurred?
I was surprised that Steph played her idol but it made sense. I assume she wanted to buy herself another round and hoped to win this challenge so she'd merge. It was a gamble, but it was a smart one because she wouldn't have been here otherwise.
