Round 6

The new power alliance is official: Me, Brian, LJ, Kass, Yul, Austin, and Candice. I don't know why Candice is in that group, but hey whatever. The plan right now is to make the seven of us the final 7 and then go from there. Right now Brian and LJ know about my idol and both have made explicit commitments to go as far as possible with me. Once we get to seven, the three of us can take over the rest of the game one of two ways:

1) Sway one of the original Ares over. Yul, Kass, and Austin all like me a lot.
2) Smart idol plays.

I would have to be responsible for either of those moves seeing as I'm the most social player out of the three of us and the one with the idol. Right now, I think I can get to the end; it's just a matter of building a case for myself along the way.

OF COURSE we could get screwed over by the 7 original Ares before this happens. I would hope that I'd be able to notice that happening before it does so that I can try to save myself in one way or another. Cautious optimism is the name of the game. The moment you feel like you're in control is the moment you're in the most trouble.
